Model Downloads

When models are downloading — for example, during a first-time Ollama setup — the connection status area in the header shows download progress instead of the normal connection indicator.

The displayed information includes:

• Progress percentage — how much of the model has been downloaded
• Bytes downloaded — the number of bytes received out of the total file size

Progress updates every 2 seconds during active downloads, giving near-real-time feedback. If a download fails, an error state is shown with details about what went wrong.
