Platform Connection

The Hefty Bot Platform is an optional cloud service that extends Hefty's capabilities. It is configured within the Agent Profile settings.

The configuration fields are:

  • API key — enter your platform API key for authentication
  • Sync toggle — enable or disable periodic sync between Hefty and the platform
  • Log submission toggle — toggle whether warning and error logs are submitted to the platform for diagnostics
  • Connection test button — verify that the platform connection is working

Once connected, the following account information is displayed:

  • Plan tier — the subscription plan associated with the account
  • Credit usage — how many platform credits have been consumed
  • Connected services — a list of services linked to the account

The platform connection is optional and can be disabled at any time. When enabled, periodic syncing shares limited system metadata such as version information and connection status. If log submission is enabled, WARN and ERROR level logs may be sent to the platform for diagnostic purposes. No conversation content, personal data, or knowledge base entries are ever shared with the platform.
